Blame it on the wiring in your brain. Your eye takes in tens of thousands of images a day. It tosses most of the stuff overboard with amazing speed because it’s been seen before.
But when you see something different from the norm, you notice.
In fact, the bigger deviation from the norm, the more strongly you notice. A flying cow, a pink office building, singing waiters, a boat
on a roof and other visual anomalies.
In a more subtle way, that’s how we approach marketing.
There’s always going to be something in the concept, copy, design
or production that makes a slight disconnect from the norm. That’s why the communications we create for our clients get noticed and acted upon.
So, do anything except the ordinary. Make your audience cry, laugh, buy, sell, and squirm, just about anything to get them out of their chairs to do something.
